About the cafe

The Beacon Café is here for all, offering a peaceful and welcoming place to come by yourself or with friends and family.

We are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm (last orders are at 2.30pm). Please also note the cafe is closed on bank holidays. You can contact the cafe directly on 01202 890520.

We are here to serve the community in many different ways, including providing a place for over 60 volunteers to be valued. Without our volunteers this cafe would not function. Are you interested in volunteering with us? Would you like to be part of a dynamic, supportive team? Please get in touch!

A cafe with a difference.

Although we are all about serving community, we long to get the coffee just right, too. That’s why we use a cherished blend of coffee, served by our volunteers to get the best, balanced taste that coffee should have!

All our food is freshly made to order prepared with great care and attention to detail. Why not look out for our specials board each week for new and exciting additions to the menu.

Come and experience a cafe with a difference here in Ferndown. If you’re popping in for a takeaway, or fancy sitting in, we would love to see you.

Our Café is located on ground floor and there are no steps so there is easy access throughout the complex. Our toilets are maintained to a high standard and there is disabled toilet also with baby changing facilities. We also have a large on site car park and bike racks for cyclists.

There is both indoor and outdoor seating equipped with outside play area for children.

This is our regular go to if in the area shopping and is a great place to stop for lunch or a cuppa. The restaurant is large and airy with lots of seating. The staff are volunteers and are super friendly. The food is always lovely and well presented. They do a wide selection of panini's, sandwiches, soup etc along with some lovely cakes. If you are in the area give it a try.

Our menu caters for a wide range of tastes and dietary requirements and includes vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

Come for an all day breakfast bap or call in for a coffee and a catch up with friends. Join us for a panini at lunch or an afternoon tea and cake. Our specials board is regularly updated so there’s always something new and tasty to try!

The cafe also offers free WIFI which makes it a great place to bring your laptop to do some work or meet with work colleagues.
