About Our Vision
Our Vision is Transformation through Jesus
We believe that God is uniquely able to transform lives! We are living proof of His power to do so, and we long for others to know the same. There is no situation or circumstance beyond His reach, and no life that is too damaged or broken to be radically turned around. He is the God of the impossible and He specialises in bringing light out of darkness and hope where it has been lost. No wonder we are so excited about Jesus!
Everything that we do is about allowing God to do His transforming work: whether that is through our gatherings on Sundays, our Life Groups, youth activities, outreach activities, community groups and opportunities to pray.
We are all on a journey – none of us have made it yet – and it’s all by the grace of God. However we want to cooperate with the work of the Spirit in our lives to be changing us into the character of Jesus. And there is nothing that God cannot do in and through us!
Our prayer is that our community will be transformed as we carry the light of Jesus out into the streets, families and businesses – that Ferndown will be a better place because we are here living for His kingdom, and praying ‘your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven’.
Our Services
We’d love you to come and join us at any of our services at St Mary’s. Each of our services has a different flavour, but across them all our desire is to encounter the living God, as we worship, pray and study the Bible together. We also love to regularly make space for anyone to share stories of how God has been working in their life at all of our services.
