YOUTH MINISTER

(Part time)

St Mary’s Church, Ferndown, Dorset

We seek a part time Youth Minister to work amongst 11-18 year olds (12-15 hours per week, to be negotiated). The position will focus on discipling existing youth in Pathfinders (11-14’s) and CYFA (14-18’s) and establish a weekly club for 11-14’s. The post holder will also help us create a job specification and seek funding for another staff position focussing on outreach to youth in the town in the coming years.

About you

• You will naturally model a Christ-like faith to young people, teams of volunteers, teachers and parents alike.
• You will be passionate about discipling teenagers
• You will have a relevant theological and/or youth work qualification.
• You will be a people person and team player.

Salary

• Dependent on qualifications and experience.
