Revelation Study Day
Revelation Study Day with Rev. Dr. Ian Paul
Saturday 27th February, 9.30am - 3.00pm at St Mary's Ferndown
After 2000 years, the Book of Revelation continues to both attract and repel.
Where should we start in trying to make sense of its bizarre imagery?
How do we go about relating it to life in the 21st Century?
And how can we tell the difference between sensible interpretation and misleading speculation?
Ian Paul is well placed to help us dig deeper, and get some answers. We hope you will come and join us as we study God’s Word together.
Ian is Dean of Studies at St John’s College Nottingham, an Anglican college training people for many types of ministry. His own PhD focussed on Revelation and he often teaches about this most misunderstood book. Ian is married to Maggie, who is a GP, and they have three children, Elizabeth, Benjamin and Rebecca.Ian's first degree was in Maths, and he worked in industrial business (making chocolate!) prior to ordination. Before moving to St John's, he spent eight years on the staff of St Mary's Longfleet, Poole, which saw significant growth over that time.
