The Mothers Union

Greetings from Ferndown
Mothers' Union!

Our mission is:

  1.  To promote and support family life
  2.  To encourage parents in their role to develop the faith of their children
  3. To maintain a worldwide fellowship of Christians united in prayer, worship and service
  4. To promote conditions in society favourable to family life and the protection of children
  5. To help those whose family life has met with adversity

Membership is open to anyone of any age or gender, married or single.

In Ferndown we meet on the first Thursday of each month at 2.30pm in St. Mary's Church hall.  At our meetings we have a speaker or discussion, which this year are focused on the theme of “The Cost of Relationships”.

The Ferndown Mothers’ Unions support various projects including The Womens' Refuge in Salisbury and holidays for disadvantaged families and our vital work abroad with prayer and practical and financial help.
